Naval Region 5 honors outstanding professional soldiers

In his opening speech, Colonel Trinh Xuan Tung, Commander of Naval Region 5, affirmed that the QNCN is the “backbone” of Naval Region 5, especially in the fields of technical expertise and specialized operations. This force always plays a core role in training, combat readiness, management, exploitation of weapons, technical equipment, logistics assurance as well as effective participation in disaster prevention and control, search and rescue, etc.

Many soldiers have overcome difficulties, steadfastly stuck to the front lines, not afraid of hardships and challenges. Some have devoted their entire military career to the Southwest sea, silently contributing to the high mountains and remote islands, contributing to building strong, exemplary, and representative units.

At the meeting, the opinions of the commanders of the agencies and units focused on analyzing, evaluating and clarifying the outstanding results of the QNCN team in the process of performing their tasks. The outstanding QNCN also shared many experiences, good, creative and effective ways of doing things. At the same time, they expressed their determination to continue to make efforts, not to be subjective or complacent with the achieved results, to constantly strive, study, practice and complete all assigned tasks well.

Recognizing and praising the achievements and contributions of the QNCN team in the work, Colonel Ngo Van Thanh noted that the units need to continue to thoroughly grasp the directives and resolutions of the superiors; focus on building a QNCN team with strong political will, good professional qualifications, and high skills. At the same time, pay attention to helping and creating all favorable conditions for QNCN to develop and contribute their talents and intelligence; do a good job of building, nurturing, and replicating advanced models, good experiences, and effective ways of working of the QNCN team, creating a widespread influence throughout the unit.

The QNCN team needs to continue to promote the achievements and results that have been achieved. Actively and voluntarily cultivate, practice, and have absolute trust in the leadership of Party committees, Party organizations, and commanders at all levels. Proactively study and learn to improve professional qualifications, capacity, and working methods and styles. Strive to implement the motto "good at one position, knowledgeable in many positions, ready to replace other positions", increasingly better meeting the requirements and tasks of the Region in the new situation, contributing to firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the Command of Naval Region 5 awarded Certificates and commended 19 outstanding military personnel for the period 2022 - 2025. These are soldiers with good political qualities, ethics, and sense of discipline; have good professional qualifications, enthusiasm, responsibility, dedication to work and have many models, initiatives, topics, and solutions to improve the quality of all aspects of work at the unit.

From 2022 to present, more than 900 QNCNs of the Naval Region 5 Command have been commended by all levels and sectors; more than 220 QNCNs have had their salaries raised and military ranks promoted ahead of schedule; nearly 60 comrades have been recognized as outstanding QNCNs at all levels.
