On the morning of April 11, at Van Duc Pagoda (Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa), the Khanh Hoa Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations organized a Tet celebration for nearly 70 students representing more than 300 Lao and Cambodian students studying at universities and academies in the province. Activities such as offering prayers, praying for peace, tying threads on wrists, splashing water for luck, etc. contributed to creating a warm and cohesive atmosphere, demonstrating the friendship of the three countries of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia.
On the same day, An Giang Provincial Youth Union organized a meeting with Lao and Cambodian students and Khmer ethnic Youth Union - Association - Pioneers. On this occasion, 21 Khmer ethnic students with excellent achievements in the first semester were awarded certificates of merit; many gifts were also sent to overseas students on the occasion of the New Year.

Previously, on April 10, the University of Water Resources (Hanoi) organized an intimate meeting with Lao and Cambodian students, expressing concern and encouraging their spirit during the holidays away from home.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the University of Finance and Economics organized the program “Bunpimay and Chol Chnam Thmay at UEF” with many unique activities such as Buddha bathing, wrist tying, water splashing ceremony, Lamvong dance, Romvong dance, and bamboo dance, bringing a vibrant festival atmosphere imbued with Southeast Asian cultural identity.
