- At the SMARTIES Vietnam 2024 awards ceremony, Vietnam Airlines was honored in two categories: Personalization (Silver award - no Gold award) and Real Time Marketing (Bronze award) for the campaign "Million miles of wonder experiences".

MMA Smarties is a prestigious global award series organized by MMA Global (Mobile Marketing Association - MMA) based in New York, USA.

The awards honor breakthrough marketing initiatives that demonstrate creativity and have a major impact on society at the national, regional and global levels.

After 11 years of organization, MMA Smarties has affirmed its position as a prestigious playground in the field of marketing. The award-winning campaigns not only bring success to businesses but also contribute to shaping new trends in the creative media industry.

Vietnam Airlines’ “Million miles of wonder experiences” campaign made a strong impression on the jury. This is a personalized marketing campaign that applies advanced digital technologies throughout the customer experience journey.

The “Million miles of wonder experiences” campaign was developed from the advantage of the Lotusmiles program – the leading customer loyalty program in Vietnam. “Million miles of wonder experiences” has developed to meet the needs of the market with advanced technology and a personalized approach.

According to statistics, Vietnam Airlines' breakthrough campaign has achieved admirable results: Attracting 43 million new customer profiles in 17 countries, increasing the number of international passengers by 283.5%; international revenue increased by 154%; attracting more than 1,000,000 new Golden Lotus members and increasing the number of active members by 63%; online sales increased by 145%.

In the coming time, Vietnam Airlines' "Million miles of wonder experiences" campaign will continue to compete in the Asia-Pacific region (Smarties APAC) and Globally (Smarties Global) with 5 categories: Instant Impact/Promotion; Customer Journey Marketing - Lead Generation/CRM; Real Time Marketing; Data Insights/Contextual Marketing and Personalization.

In a series of good news, a representative of Vietnam Airlines has just announced that the parent company and the ecosystem of Vietnam Airlines' subsidiaries are all profitable compared to the same period last year.

Total revenue and other income of the parent company in Q3/2024 increased by 19.12% compared to Q3/2023, equivalent to an increase of more than VND 3,470 billion. Of which, service revenue increased by 17.34%, equivalent to an increase of more than VND 3,055.7 billion compared to the same period last year.

In the first 9 months of the year, Vietnam Airlines conducted 106.4 thousand safe flights. Passenger transport reached 17.2 million, up 8.9% over the same period in 2023; Cargo and parcel transport reached nearly 226 thousand tons, up 42% over the same period in 2023. Vietnam Airlines has restored the entire domestic flight network; resumed most international routes and opened new routes.

The airline also announced the opening of direct flights from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to Munich (Germany), Hanoi to Phnom Penh (Cambodia), the opening of a series of flights from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to Manila (Philippines) and the resumption of flights from Hanoi to Chengdu (China), Da Nang to Da Lat; Da Nang to Buon Ma Thuot. At the same time, Vietnam Airlines operates wide-body aircraft on flights between Vietnam and India, Singapore, and China.

According to the plan, in 2024-2025, Vietnam Airlines will synchronously implement solutions to overcome the negative equity situation such as restructuring assets and financial investment portfolio to increase income and cash flow. At the same time, the airline will also prepare the necessary conditions to implement the plan to issue shares to increase equity after being approved by competent authorities.

As reported by Vietnam Law, in addition to ensuring business efficiency, Vietnam Airlines continues to promote the role of the National Airline when implementing a series of sustainable development programs such as "Fly lightly to Con Dao", "Contribute leaves to patch the forest", participate in the gender equality campaign, accompany the whole country to provide relief to flood-affected areas and overcome the consequences of floods...

The airline said it is preparing an early operational plan to meet passenger demand in the last quarter of 2024 and early 2025...
