Lang Son issues plan to implement tourism system planning for the period 2021-2025, vision to 2045

The objective of the Plan is to deploy and specify the contents, tasks and solutions in Decision No. 382/QD-TTg dated February 21, 2025 of the Prime Minister promulgating the Plan to implement the Tourism System Planning for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2045 (Tourism System Planning), striving to complete the set tourism development targets and tasks, contributing to promoting the socio-economic growth of the province.

In particular, tourism is oriented to develop sustainably, in accordance with the planning, on the basis of green growth, imbued with Lang Son's cultural identity; ensuring national defense, security, social order and safety.

Tourism development work must ensure compliance with and inheritance of action programs, the Project on tourism development in Lang Son province until 2030, and the approved public investment plan; ensure connectivity, unity, and no overlap or conflict between tasks, programs, and projects in the province.

According to the Plan, the implementation of the Tourism System Planning for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2045, includes the following main tasks: Reviewing and updating the contents of the Tourism System Planning into the provincial planning to ensure consistency and synchronization; Developing infrastructure and technical facilities to serve tourism development; Developing and implementing plans for land allocation and zoning for tourism development; Developing policies and mechanisms, improving the environment to attract investment in tourism development; Investing in developing tourism products and building tourism brands associated with protecting the tourism environment; Developing tourism human resources; Improving the effectiveness of tourism promotion and advertising, linking tourism development; Ensuring financial resources.

The plan requests relevant departments, branches, agencies and units to be proactive in coordination, enhance responsibility in organizing and implementing tasks, ensuring progress, quality and effectiveness of assigned plans. Strengthen mobilization and effective use of resources to implement the contents.

Departments, branches, provincial agencies, People's Committees of districts and cities, based on their functions, tasks and assigned contents in the plan, study, thoroughly understand and develop specific plans to deploy and organize implementation to ensure progress and effectiveness. Annually, agencies and units prepare reports assessing the results of implementing tasks, send them to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism for synthesis and report to the Provincial People's Committee before December 1.
