Students get 5 days off for the April 30 - May 1 holiday

Previously, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (now the Ministry of Home Affairs) announced that on the occasion of April 30 - May 1 this year, officials, civil servants, public employees and workers will have 5 consecutive days off, from Wednesday (April 30) to Sunday (May 4). Workers will make up for the day off on Saturday, April 26.

Agencies and units that do not have a fixed weekly Saturday and Sunday off schedule will base on the specific program and plan of the unit to arrange a suitable holiday schedule, in accordance with the provisions of law.

According to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, students will have 5 consecutive days off during this year's holiday, from April 30 to May 4.

Also according to the previous school year schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training, the first semester ends before January 18, the program is completed and the school year ends before May 31. Consideration of completion of primary school program and recognition of secondary school graduation before June 30. Complete enrollment of first-level classes before July 31. The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26-27.

Other national exams are organized according to regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Teachers' annual leave is taken during the summer vacation or can be arranged alternately at other times of the year to suit the specific characteristics and school year schedule of the locality.

The Ministry of Education and Training notes that the school year schedule needs to ensure consistency for all levels of education in a residential area, especially in general schools with many levels of education.
