Endrick could look to leave Real Madrid for more playing time.

According to the Daily Mail , Endrick is likely to consider leaving Real Madrid to play more regularly, as the 2026 World Cup approaches. Having to be behind Kylian Mbappe in the priority order makes him worried that he will not be called up by coach Dorival Junior to the Brazilian team for the biggest football festival on the planet.

The 18-year-old striker has scored just six goals in 28 appearances since joining Real from Palmeiras last summer. He has yet to start a La Liga game this season. His lack of regular playing time led to Endrick being left out of Brazil's squad by coach Dorival Junior in March. He was eventually called up as a replacement due to Neymar's injury.

Talking to the legend Romario on Brazilian television, Endrick worried: "My biggest fear right now is not being able to participate in the World Cup. I know you (Romario) also experienced the same feeling in 1998. That was the biggest dream of my life, to wear the Brazilian national team shirt and help the team win the championship for the 6th time."

Endrick admits that competition at Real Madrid is fierce: "When you play for the biggest club in the world, where there are top players, you can't always get on the pitch. But every time I have the chance, I always want to show myself to score points with the team."

Endrick's statement immediately caught the attention of many big clubs, including Chelsea, who almost signed him when he was just 16. According to Defensa Central , "The Blues" are planning to spend up to 105 million pounds on a double transfer deal, bringing both Endrick and Rodrygo to Stamford Bridge.

Endrick is still on international duty and is hoping to play in the South American Clasico against Argentina on March 26. Brazil are currently third in the South American qualifying group after a 2-1 win over Colombia.

Two goals put Endrick into Brazilian history. Endrick became the second player after Pele to score for Brazil in two consecutive matches before turning 18.
