The National Assembly Standing Committee meets to give opinions on corruption prevention and control work.

VOV.VN - The National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the Government's reports on crime prevention and control, law enforcement, and corruption prevention and control in 2024.

The 37th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee took place in two sessions (session 1 from September 12 to the morning of September 13; session 2 from September 23 to 26) at the National Assembly House. National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man delivered the opening speech and, together with the National Assembly Vice Chairmen, took turns presiding over the content of the session.

Regarding the law-making work, according to the program, the National Assembly Standing Committee will spend a lot of time giving opinions on the following projects: Law on Chemicals (amended); Law on Special Consumption Tax; Law on Corporate Income Tax (amended); Law on Employment (amended); Law on Teachers; Law on Management and Investment of State Capital in Enterprises, etc.

The National Assembly Standing Committee will review and comment on the Government's Report on the implementation of the Constitution, laws, and resolutions of the National Assembly; the 2024 work report of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy; the Government's reports on crime prevention and control, law enforcement, and corruption prevention and control in 2024. The Standing Committee will also comment on the report on the results of the National Assembly's Thematic Supervision Delegation related to the management of the real estate market and social housing development from 2015 to the end of 2023; the report of the Supervision Delegation and adopt the Resolution on ensuring traffic order and safety; report on the National Assembly's public petition work in August 2024... In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider and approve the Prime Minister's proposal on the appointment of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee will summarize the 8th Extraordinary Session and give opinions on the preparation for the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
