3 elementary school students found a phone and are looking for the owner to return it.

(Dan Tri) - After finding a phone and many documents, 3 elementary school students in Nghe An reported to the police and returned it to its owner. Their small but meaningful actions moved many people.

On the morning of March 20, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hieu, Vice Principal of Phuc Son Primary School, Anh Son District, Nghe An, said that the commune police coordinated with local people to find lost property thanks to the honesty of 3 primary school students.

Previously, at around 10:30 a.m. on March 18, on their way home from school, three children, including Nguyen Van Duc Manh (born in 2015), Nguyen Cong Hai (born in 2015) - both in class 4B, and Nguyen Cong Nhat Linh (born in 2017, class 2B), all students of Phuc Son Primary School, discovered a cell phone dropped in the middle of the road.

The phone case also contained many important personal documents such as citizen identification card, driver's license, health insurance card in the name of Nguyen Thi Dung, residing in Village 4, Phuc Son commune, Anh Son district.

Without hesitation, the three children brought all the found property to the Phuc Son Commune Police Station to help find the person who lost it.

After receiving the property, the commune police quickly coordinated with the local security team to verify and contact Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung.

That same afternoon, Ms. Dung went to the police station to get her phone and documents back, and emotionally thanked the three children and the police.

Representatives of Phuc Son Commune Police assessed the act of picking up lost property and returning it to its owner by the students as a beautiful gesture, demonstrating honesty and responsibility, worthy of being a shining example for friends and the community to follow.

Teacher Nguyen Ngoc Hieu shared: "The honest actions and good deeds of the 3 students will be commended during the flag-raising ceremony at the beginning of the week. The timely commendation not only encourages the students but also contributes to spreading the spirit of living beautifully and responsibly to all students and the community."
