On October 30, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to review the contents of organizing "Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Can Tho City" in 2023.

"Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Can Tho" in 2023 with the theme: "Ninh Thuan - Land of Convergence of Different Values" will be held from November 3 to November 5, 2023 (on the occasion of Can Tho City organizing activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Can Tho City under the Central Government), at the Uncle Ho Monument Area, Ninh Kieu walking street, Tan An ward, Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho City; the opening ceremony will start at 7:00 p.m. on November 4. In addition to art performances associated with promoting Ninh Thuan tourism throughout the event, the province will organize booths to display and promote culture, tourism, OCOP products, Ninh Thuan's typical products... which will be a stopover, attracting Can Tho people and tourists to visit and experience.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the coordination and preparation of relevant departments, branches and units. In order for the event to achieve the highest efficiency, he requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and continue to coordinate with units to carry out tasks according to the issued plan, at the same time monitor and urge the implementation of assigned units, promptly report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to consider and resolve issues arising during the implementation process. In particular, urgently complete the press release of the event, event information with QR code to deploy information and propaganda work about the event on the media; strengthen information and propaganda columns on the Provincial Electronic Information Portal as well as on the Provincial Newspaper and Radio; connect with news agencies and newspapers in the City. Can Tho and neighboring provinces promote and propagate before and during the event, bringing "Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Can Tho" to Can Tho people and tourists.
