Da Nang American billionaire Bill Gates and his girlfriend enjoyed tea and watched the sunset on Ban Co peak on the afternoon of March 6 during their trip to Vietnam.
At 5:00 p.m. on March 6, the motorcade carrying billionaire Bill Gates stopped at Ban Co Mountain on Son Tra Peninsula, where one can see the whole view of Da Nang from above. Mr. Bill Gates, his girlfriend, a tea artist, a guide and a waiter climbed hundreds of steps to the top of Ban Co Mountain, while his manager and bodyguards stood below.

VnExpress sources said the American billionaire was wearing a T-shirt, trousers and sneakers. On top of Ban Co, Mr. Bill Gates sat enjoying tea in the area next to the chess board. The waiters had prepared a table and chairs for the group to sit on. The weather was slightly foggy but the sunset was beautiful.
According to the original schedule, billionaire Bill Gates stayed on Ban Co peak until 6 p.m. However, the group did not leave until around 6:20 p.m. "He stayed to watch the sea and the city lights come on," the source said, adding that while enjoying tea, the billionaire also took souvenir photos with the tea ceremony artist and the surrounding scenery.
Some witnesses said that billionaire Bill Gates was friendly and approachable. "Bill Gates' manager said that his girlfriend really likes Vietnam and Da Nang. The billionaire plans to return to Vietnam with his family for a vacation," the source added.
About 2 hours before the group arrived, the road passing through Ban Co peak was restricted to traffic.

Ban Co Peak is 700m above sea level, the highest point in the entire Son Tra Peninsula and is considered the "roof" of Da Nang. From the top of the mountain, visitors can admire the panoramic view of the sea and Da Nang city. This is also a popular tourist attraction.
