Vietnam team wins shocking victory, makes history at Asian beach soccer tournament

While Vietnam is participating in the finals for the second time, Bahrain has participated in the tournament 10 times. They are the team with the second most appearances in the finals (only behind China, Iran and Japan with 11 times). In 2006, Bahrain even won the championship.

However, not long after that, Phan Dat helped Vietnam take a 2-1 lead. Unfortunately, just 2 minutes later, Samoul scored twice to bring the score to 2-2. The two sides had to decide the winner in extra time.

Here, Vietnam continued to surprise with 2 goals to secure a 4-2 victory. This was the first victory for the team in the history of the tournament. And these 3 points also opened the door to the quarterfinals for Vietnam because in the last match, the team met Malaysia, who were weaker.
