On the evening of March 2, the "Na Hang Fragrance and Color Festival 2024" opened at Na Hang Town Square, Na Hang District, Tuyen Quang Province.
This is the second time the “Na Hang Fragrance” Festival has been held to promote the natural landscape, culture, and people of Na Hang, with unique tourism products of the district to people across the country and international friends; stimulate the demand for products, especially agricultural products, OCOP products, and local goods.
At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the Decision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognizing Quan Lang singing of the Tay ethnic group in Tuyen Quang as a national intangible cultural heritage; the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment announced the Decision to recognize the Vietnamese heritage tree for the thousand-year-old nghien tree in Ban Bung village, Thanh Tuong commune, Na Hang district.
Within the framework of the Festival, visitors and people can enjoy special art programs performed by famous artists imbued with the cultural identity of Na Hang district's ethnic groups, and experience activities such as: enjoying Shan Tuyet Na Hang tea; visiting Vietnam's heritage trees, Bo Kim cave, Ban Bung village, Thanh Tuong commune; cultural and sports activities, displaying local OCOP products; experiencing the longest pear flower road in Vietnam; visiting Khau Trang cultural tourism village; experiencing pear gardens, enjoying ethnic cuisine and learning about the culture of the Dao Tien ethnic group in Hong Thai commune. Visitors also have the opportunity to visit and experience the complex of special national monuments, scenic spots of Na Hang - Lam Binh Nature Reserve...
Na Hang is a mountainous district of Tuyen Quang province, with special natural conditions and many famous scenic spots. Cultural traditions, history and majestic, poetic nature give Na Hang a unique location, a place where the cultural nuances of ethnic minorities converge and intermingle. Na Hang district strives to build the Na Hang - Lam Binh National Scenic Area by 2025 as a center for eco-tourism, community tourism, and discovery tourism with a national brand, moving towards an international brand; welcoming over 350,000 tourists, social revenue from tourism reaching over 430 billion VND, creating jobs for over 5,600 workers.
The 2024 "Na Hang Fragrance and Color" Festival will take place until March 10.
