Bloomberg tech expert Mark Gurman has just stated that the iPhone 17 Pro will not have a two-tone back panel as some renders have recently circulated online. "The iPhone 17 Pro will not have a two-tone back panel. The rear camera module will be the same color as the body," he shared.

Some leaked images on social media even show a two-tone design – for example, a prominent black camera module against a silver back panel. However, like many other renders on the internet, they don't reflect the actual design of the upcoming iPhone.
Therefore, aside from the new camera cluster which looks quite similar to the style of the Google Pixel line, Mark Gurman suggests that the iPhone 17 Pro will not be drastically different from the current iPhone models.
According to The Information , Apple has opted for a half-glass, half-aluminum design for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max to increase the device's durability. The glass will allow wireless charging to continue to be available, while the aluminum frame will make the device less prone to breakage.
This year, the iPhone 17 line will have a completely new version called the iPhone 17 Air, with an ultra-thin design, intended to replace the less popular Plus line.
All the new iPhone 17 models, including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone 17 Air, are expected to be launched by Apple in September, following the company's annual tradition.
