Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam Post Corporation organized the launching ceremony of the program "Vietnam Post Youth take the lead in propagating and mobilizing people to participate in Social Insurance and Health Insurance".
On March 16, in Hanoi, in response to Youth Month 2024, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam Post Corporation held a launching ceremony for the program "Vietnam Post Youth take the lead in propagating and mobilizing people to participate in Social Insurance and Health Insurance" (SI, HI). The program was connected online to 78 points of all provincial, municipal and central post offices across the Vietnam Post network. Over the years, in coordination with Vietnam Social Security, Vietnam Post has persistently and enthusiastically affirmed its role as an "extended arm" in expanding the social security net and spreading social insurance policies to all people, aiming at the goal of developing voluntary social insurance and universal health insurance. The launching ceremony of the program "Vietnam Post Youth Union takes the lead in propagating and mobilizing people to participate in social insurance and health insurance" is an activity of the Vietnam Post Corporation Youth Union, aiming to promote the role of Vietnam Post Youth Union members and youth in propagating and mobilizing people to participate in social insurance and health insurance. With consistent communication themes and flexible innovation in propaganda methods combining direct consultation, group consultation, organizing conferences and propaganda on social networks, the launching month of social insurance and health insurance development by Vietnam Post Youth Union has left clear impressions. Through the launching program implemented by the youth union of Vietnam Post, many farmers and workers in the informal sector have clearly understood the rights and benefits of participating in voluntary social insurance, the risks of not participating in social insurance and health insurance. From there, people's awareness, actions and habits have been changed, proactively participating in this excellent social security policy to ensure social security and stabilize their lives. Speaking at the launching ceremony, General Director of Vietnam Post Chu Quang Hao emphasized that this is a program to kick off a series of exciting youth movements throughout the network, not only during this youth month but also throughout the planning year and the following stages.

At the ceremony, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Social Security Le Hung Son emphasized that over the years, Vietnam Post Corporation with its system of Social Insurance and Health Insurance Collection Service Organizations and a network of collaborators covering the whole country, has always accompanied and stood side by side, affirming its role as one of the "extended arms" of the Vietnam Social Security sector in effectively implementing communication work, mobilizing people to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance. "Vietnam Post is one of the units that has been very flexible and proactive in closely coordinating with social security agencies at all levels to deploy forms of communication, mobilizing people to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance, contributing to raising people's awareness, strengthening people's deep trust in the social security policies of the Party and the State" - Mr. Le Hung Son affirmed.Youth at the Quang Tri Province Post Office responded to the Launch Ceremony.
Mr. Tran Hai Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Insurance, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, believes that with the active participation of Vietnam Post in the recent past, together with the social insurance industry, the goals set by the Party Central Committee in Resolution 28 on reforming social insurance policies will be preserved. "In the coming time, social insurance policies will be supplemented with many new benefits so that people can truly see social insurance as a "lifesaver", especially when they get old. In addition to propaganda campaigns and expanding the target audience, we hope that the youth of Vietnam Post will coordinate with the youth of relevant agencies to actively propagate and disseminate new legal policies so that people can understand and actively participate in social insurance" - Mr. Tran Hai Nam said. Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Ngo Van Cuong also expressed his belief that with the youthfulness of the union members and youths nationwide and the enthusiasm and responsibility of the Vietnam Post force for social security work, the work of propaganda, development and mobilization of people to participate in voluntary social insurance and health insurance will achieve high results. On this occasion, the Central Secretariat of the Youth Union also thanked the attention and coordination of the Vietnam Social Security and the Vietnam Post Corporation in the past and in the future, creating conditions for the union members and youths in the organization to continue to promote their role as shock troops, volunteers and pioneers in activities for community life. According to Mr. Le Xuan Huy, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Corporation, immediately after the launching ceremony, more than 8,000 youth union members of Vietnam Post in conjunction with youth union members of localities will simultaneously carry out mobile propaganda, consultation, and development of subjects in the area, contributing to the completion of the program's goal of developing more than 14,000 subjects to participate in social insurance and health insurance.According to statistics, in 2023, the entire Vietnam Post system had developed 13.47 million people participating in health insurance and maintained the number of voluntary social insurance participants at approximately 1.3 million people. In addition, Vietnam Post also received 18,928 agents and collaborators, contributing to improving efficiency in developing participants. |
