Meeting between provincial leaders and children attending the Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress

Attending the event were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Bui Van Han Em, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Van Dam, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council Vo Van Be Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin - Protection of Children's Rights Trinh Thi Thanh Binh, along with 200 child delegates who are outstanding team members representing 97,803 child team members across the province attending the Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children of Ben Tre province.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam presented certificates and symbols of Uncle Ho's Good Children and encouraged the children to continue their efforts.

At the meeting, leaders at all levels and children in attendance listened to some children share their stories, their efforts in studying and training, and expressed their wishes, dreams, and aspirations for the future.

Children shared their efforts in studying and training, their thoughts and feelings towards the Congress at the meeting with provincial leaders.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam expressed his excitement when attending the meeting with children attending the 13th Provincial Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress in 2025.

Reviewing the founding day of the National Salvation Children's Team (now the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team), through 84 years of establishment and growth, the Team's movements and activities have always been closely associated with the cause of building socialism, with the goal of a rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, and civilization.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam commented that, continuing the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers and Dong Khoi homeland, in the era of peace and development, Ben Tre province continues to have many exemplary and excellent young pioneers, overcoming difficulties to achieve high achievements in studying, doing thousands of good deeds, worthy of being Uncle Ho's Good Children.

Especially the children attending today's program are the brightest flowers, the typical good children of Uncle Ho of the province. They always try, strive, and practice to become good children, good students, actively participate in movements and activities of the Team, school, and class; many children have won noble awards in competitions from provincial to national level. The provincial leaders, the school and their families are extremely happy and proud of the achievements that the children have achieved.

Sending his message to the children of the province, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam hopes that the children will continue to strive to study, improve their knowledge and skills to constantly develop and achieve higher achievements in their studies, constantly striving to become the model of Ben Tre Children "Good children of Uncle Ho, not afraid of difficulties, competing and being creative".

Along with that, you continue to strive and practice well the 5 things Uncle Ho taught teenagers and children to become good children, good students, good friends, good citizens, and members of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. At the same time, you need to actively participate in Team activities and children's movements to practice life skills, solidarity, compassion, sense of responsibility to the community, cultural and civilized lifestyle... When you do these things well, you will be able to realize your ideals and dreams.

Through the opinions of the children, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union to take note and report to the Provincial People's Committee and relevant provincial departments and branches for consideration and settlement according to regulations, in order to create conditions for the activities of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team of the province to develop further.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Vo Tuan Thong presented Uncle Ho's Good Children certificates and symbols to the children.

On this occasion, the Ben Tre Provincial Youth Union awarded the Certificate of Good Children of Uncle Ho in Ben Tre Province, period 2020 - 2025 to 200 teenagers and children. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee presented the children with valuable books about beloved Uncle Ho, thereby helping them understand more deeply about the 5 teachings of Uncle Ho, the teachings that have become the guiding principle for many generations of Vietnamese children.

Representatives of the children and the Provincial Youth Union presented the painting to the Standing Committee of Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee.

Ben Tre children drew a picture of Rach Mieu bridge with beautiful colors and presented it to the Standing Committee of Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee to express the feelings of Ben Tre children to the provincial leaders.
