Accurate, objective and diverse documents about the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Van Sau, Party Secretary, Deputy Director-Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Publishing House, said the book series is divided into 3 main content groups.

First are the memoirs and recollections of famous generals who directly participated in commanding the Dien Bien Phu Campaign 70 years ago.

These are books that have been reprinted (many times), but to this day still retain their value and great appeal because they are classic books written with the thinking and vision of military strategists whose names are closely associated with the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, such as: "Dien Bien Phu," "Dien Bien Phu - Golden Milestone of History" by General Vo Nguyen Giap, "General Hoang Van Thai with the Dien Bien Phu Campaign," "General Le Trong Tan with the Dien Bien Phu Campaign"...

The second group includes studies, summaries, and analyses that clarify the Party's and Uncle Ho's brilliant leadership; the leadership role of the Central Military Commission, the Campaign Command, and the outstanding role of General Vo Nguyen Giap; Vietnamese military art through strategic operations, campaigns, and tactics; statistics, figures, events, assessments both domestically and internationally; and the great support of international friends, such as: "Dien Bien Phu Campaign - Victory of Vietnamese mettle and intelligence," "Vietnam's strength in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign," "Dien Bien Phu - The pinnacle of Vietnamese campaign art," "Dien Bien Phu Campaign: Facts and Figures," "General Vo and Dien Bien Phu," "Dien Bien Phu Victory in 1954 from a foreign perspective"...

The third group is memoirs and stories associated with relics and memories of veterans who directly participated in the battle; or literary works (poetry, prose) that contribute to recreating through details and building character images with authentic, vivid, simple, easy-to-understand language, highlighting the great feats and sacrifices of our army and people to achieve glorious victory in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, such as: "Dien Bien Phu Victory - Chronicle" (2 volumes), "Dien Bien Phu Victory Stories" (2 volumes), "Dien Bien Soldiers' Relics," "Unforgettable Dien Bien Phu," "Muong Flood" ...

According to Colonel Nguyen Van Sau, the process of organizing the publication of the book series on the Dien Bien Phu Victory aims to inherit, continue and develop the book series published in previous commemorations. In addition, the People's Army Publishing House also focuses on carefully selecting books of high value for reprinting.

In addition to investing in the above content, the People's Army Publishing House focuses on the form of the book, from choosing the size of the book, designing the cover, presenting the content in a modern style, beautifully printed; organizing timely communication and creating a wide spread nationwide.
