This is the opinion of the Resumen Latinoamericano newspaper in a recent article, in which it highly appreciates Vietnam's economic diplomacy efforts, with breakthroughs, paving the way for rapid and sustainable development.
According to a VNA correspondent in Buenos Aires, the newspaper highlighted the important results achieved through overseas trips by senior Vietnamese leaders, such as the working trip of General Secretary To Lam in his capacity as General Secretary and President to the US last September to attend the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week; the visit of President Luong Cuong to Chile and Peru last November and the visit of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar and Saudi Arabia last October.
According to Resumen Latinoamericano, many cooperation agreements have been signed within the framework of visits by high-ranking Vietnamese leaders, providing opportunities to promote sustainable economic growth and laying the foundation for the country to enter an era of comprehensive innovation and deep integration into the global supply chain.
The newspaper also mentioned the upgrading of relations to comprehensive strategic partnerships with Australia, France and Malaysia in 2024, saying that these agreements will support Vietnam in expanding cooperation in strategic areas, including renewable energy, nuclear technology, urban and railway transport, innovation and climate change response.
The author of the article said that Vietnam continues to consolidate and enhance its comprehensive strategic partnership with key partners such as China, Russia, India, South Korea, the United States, and Japan, and promote trade cooperation with the European Union (EU). These efforts not only affirm Vietnam's position in the international arena but also open up great opportunities to promote extensive cooperation in many strategic areas.
In addition, at international forums, Vietnam's proposals and initiatives on digital transformation, green transformation, global governance and sustainable supply chains, contributing to shaping the regional and global economic order towards openness and sustainability, have also been welcomed and supported by the international community.
The article assesses that through multilateral activities, Vietnam's image as a dynamic economy, ready to cooperate and contribute to solving global issues has been strengthened, building trust and attracting the attention of partners.
