Fostering skills in searching and developing journalistic topics in the digital age

20 trainees are reporters, editors, and staff from agencies such as Dak Lak Newspaper, Dak Lak Radio and Television Station, Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Voice of Vietnam - Central Highlands Regional Office, Chu Yang Sin Magazine, Dak Lak Film Distribution and Screening Center, Dak Lak Science and Technology Magazine, VTV5 Ethnic Language Television Department attended the training course.

During the 3 days, the trainees were shared by Journalist Le Xuan Trung - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper with skills and knowledge related to discovering, searching and developing journalism topics in the digital age; functions and differences between information in newspapers and information on social networking sites and electronic information sites; applying some survey tools to discover topics; building topics and using AI in analyzing, proposing topics and making plans and outlines; researching genres of data journalism, solution journalism, etc.

The training course helps reporters and editors improve their professional knowledge and skills, gain more experience to apply in practice, create quality works; find ways to exploit, approach, and convey information quickly and accurately for press works, contributing to serving propaganda work well in the digital transformation era.
