Attracting visitors through the Danang Food Tour 2025 festival

On the evening of March 28, at East Sea Park, the Da Nang Department of Tourism held the opening ceremony of the Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2025. Specifically, the Danang Food Tour Festival 2025 includes entertainment programs, diverse culinary activities and unique and interesting experiences such as: Culinary space with the theme "Delicious dishes" introducing and serving more than 200 typical dishes and authentic flavors of Danang, Vietnamese and international cuisine along with rural gift spaces and rural market spaces; Danang Food Fun experience space includes activities to try making traditional local dishes;..

In addition, there is also a chef competition "Da Nang Food Tour - The Chef Competition" with the participation of more than 20 professional and amateur chefs from tourist accommodation establishments, food establishments, and restaurants; Flashmob performance program on the theme of cuisine gathering more than 200 actors in chef costumes associated with images of Vietnamese dishes; Acoustics band program and DJ serving people and tourists coming to visit and experience the festival; Check-in space with unique models on the theme of cuisine brings a colorful and meaningful space for experience and souvenir photography.

The festival is also expected to make Da Nang a unique culinary tourism destination on the world tourism map in the near future.

On this occasion, the Danang Chefs Club was officially launched to create opportunities for professional chefs to have a professional playground, share experiences and cooking skills, ensuring to serve the increasingly high and diverse needs of tourists. At the same time, it contributes significantly to elevating local cuisine and Vietnamese cuisine to become a unique tourism product.

The leaders of the Da Nang Department of Tourism informed that, inheriting the results achieved in 2024, the city's tourism activities continued to grow and develop strongly. In the first 2 months of 2025, the total number of guests served by accommodation establishments is estimated at nearly 1.6 million, an increase of 18.3%; of which, international visitors are estimated at 835,700, an increase of 48.3%, domestic visitors are estimated at 731,800.

Revenue from accommodation, food and beverage, and travel in the first two months of 2025 is estimated at more than VND 5.2 trillion, up 21% over the same period in 2024. In particular, food and beverage revenue reached nearly VND 3,000 billion, up 18.6% over the same period.
