Accordingly, the additional recruitment subjects are students who are actually residing in District 7 and have participated in the 6th grade capacity assessment survey for the 2024-2025 school year organized by the school and have a total survey score of 47 points or higher.

According to the Department of Education and Training of District 7, students whose names were on the first round of admission list but did not submit or withdrew their application will not be accepted; students who do not meet the admission requirements or whose application is invalid according to regulations will absolutely not be accepted.

Students wishing to enroll additional students can register at the link https://forms.gle/RiX7CujgzRsbMrSP6 from 3:00 p.m. on July 11 to 5:00 p.m. on July 12.

On July 13, the admissions board will send a notice to parents via eNetViet software.

From July 15 to 16, Nguyen Huu Tho Secondary School will accept additional admission applications. The school will announce the list of additional successful candidates on July 17.

The first year of organizing a survey to recruit 6th grade students

It is known that the 2024 - 2025 school year is the first year that District 7 organizes a capacity assessment survey to enroll 6th grade students at Nguyen Huu Tho Secondary School.

This year, the school enrolls 500 sixth graders (12 classes). The total number of students eligible for the survey is 1,652 students, equivalent to a competition ratio of 1 to 3.30.

The survey council was established by the Department of Education and Training of District 7, organized to create questions, grade the survey, and consider admission.

The 6th grade entrance exam for Nguyen Huu Tho Secondary School lasts 90 minutes and includes 2 parts: multiple choice and essay. Specifically:

Multiple choice section: Test duration is 30 minutes, students answer 20 multiple choice questions in English about understanding natural sciences, social sciences and common sense.

Essay section: Test duration is 60 minutes, including English reading and writing skills test, candidates will do the test in English; math and logical thinking skills test, candidates will do the test in Vietnamese; reading and writing skills test, candidates will do the test in Vietnamese.
