Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology adds new admission method

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology has just announced the expected admission methods for 2025. Accordingly, compared to 2024, the school will add an additional admission method to increase opportunities for candidates.

Dr. Nguyen Quoc Anh, Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), said that in 2025, HUTECH plans to add a new admission method and have a new scholarship policy for candidates participating in the admission process.

Accordingly, the school enrolls 61 majors in the fields of engineering - technology, economics - management, marketing - communication, architecture - fine arts, music - arts, health - sports, social sciences - humanities and law - foreign languages.

In 2025, candidates can use a new admission method of using VSAT scores to apply to Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.

The school plans to consider admission in 3 ways, including using the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, considering transcripts based on the average score of 3 subjects in grade 12, and considering the results of the 2025 capacity assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University or the 2025 V-SAT exam.

Thus, compared to 2024, this year the school added the V-SAT method and eliminated the consideration of high school transcripts based on the average score of 3 semesters (grade 11 and semester 1 of grade 12).

In particular, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Anh said that on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the school's founding, HUTECH is implementing a special scholarship policy for candidates nationwide participating in the 2025 university entrance exam.

"This scholarship policy is associated with an important milestone of the school, showing the school's gratitude to parents, candidates and society over the years , " shared Dr. Nguyen Quoc Anh.

Specifically, the school will consider awarding a scholarship worth 25% of the full tuition fee to all candidates with an average score of 20 points or higher in 3 subjects of the first semester of grade 12. Candidates can register for the scholarship from now until May 31 online on the school's website.

It is known that after applying this scholarship, the tuition fee for the 2025 course for undergraduate training programs (3.5 years, 14 semesters) is 11 million VND/semester; engineering training programs (4 years, 16 semesters) is 10 million VND/semester; specialized training programs including architecture, pharmacy, veterinary medicine (4.5 years, 18 semesters) is 12 million VND/semester.
