YEG shares of Yeah1 Group Corporation hit the ceiling price just after the first trading hour of the session on December 9 and remained purple almost throughout. The market price reached VND14,350/share, the peak since June 2022, or more than two and a half years ago. During the day, nearly 5.7 million YEG shares were traded, 3.8 times higher than the average level over the past year.
Yeah1 Group's stock code has had many good accumulation sessions in the past two weeks, including 4 sessions of full increase. From trading around a few hundred to more than a million units per session, YEG also recorded a huge cash flow. On December 5 alone, more than 10.9 million shares were traded, among the top records in the listing history of this code.
YEG's market price has been on the rise since the producer held a concert for the show "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" with a scale of about 20,000 people in Ho Chi Minh City in mid-October. Since then, the market price has increased by nearly 41%. Stock tracking tools all record that YEG is in a strong buy state, meaning it is predicted to perform better than the market average or stocks in the same industry.
However, nearly three-quarters of YEG's matched volume on December 9 were active sellers. In recent sessions, large cash flows have been participating in stronger trading. The relative strength index (RSI) is also entering the overbought zone. This stock is very close to a strong resistance zone.
Yeah1 is the company that holds the copyright and produces two TV shows, "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" and "Chi dep dap gio xu song", which have been airing since the end of June.
Thanks to that, Yeah1 has attracted many sponsors for each show, the largest being Techcombank and Samsung. This has become the main driving force for revenue growth, recording more than 345 billion VND in the third quarter, 3 times higher than the same period last year.
This company reported a profit after tax of nearly VND34.3 billion, 10.7 times higher than the same period last year. Excluding the fluctuating profit in the fourth quarter of 2021 due to the sale of a subsidiary, the figure is returning to nearly the level of 2018 - the period before the crisis due to the incident of YouTube suspending cooperation.
Yeah1 Group, founded and led by Mr. Nguyen Anh Nhuong Tong, grew from an electronic news site for young people with revenue of 150 USD in the first year to become the first media company listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE).
YEG had a period of decline in 2019-2020 when it lost hundreds of billions of dong due to the YouTube incident and the impact of Covid-19.
The company had to continuously transfer subsidiaries, restructure, and find ways to escape losses to avoid delisting its shares. By mid-2022, Mr. Tong left the Board of Directors for the reason of "being good for the company". After that, Yeah1 found a direction and determined that producing high-quality programs was the top strategy.
On December 14, concert 2 "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" will take place at Vinhomes Ocean Park 3 Hung Yen. All tickets were sold out after only 40 minutes of going on sale, marking the concert with the fastest "sold out" speed in record time.
