Electric pole explodes, telecommunications cable company employee suffers severe burns

According to initial information, at around 1:00 p.m. on March 25, a group of four employees from a telecommunications cable company were pulling wires on Lien Phuong Street, Thu Duc City.

While a man was climbing an electric pole to work, the pole suddenly exploded, setting his shirt on fire. Three other colleagues quickly came to his aid, brought the victim down to the ground, and transferred him to Le Van Viet Hospital.

Due to severe burns in many places, the victim was transferred to Cho Ray Hospital for treatment.

Upon receiving the news, Thu Duc City authorities were present at the scene to investigate the cause of the incident.
