Commendation of agencies, units and enterprises that meet cultural standards

At the conference, representatives of the Labor Federations of districts and towns presented their presentations, highlighting the results achieved, good models, effective methods as well as advantages and difficulties in building "Cultural standard agencies, units and enterprises" and implementing cultural and sports movements among workers, civil servants and laborers.

Assessments show that, in recent times, cultural, artistic, sports, political, ideological, ethical, legal and lifestyle education activities have been widely organized, attracting and gathering more and more participation from union members and workers, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of trade union activities in the work of building a comprehensive and strong Vietnamese working class.

In addition to maintaining the operation of typical cultural models such as: "Self-management groups of workers' dormitories", "Workers' cultural activity points", "Cultural and sports clusters", the Trade Unions at all levels have deployed many new models such as: "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space", "Trade Union Relaxation Corner", "Green Space, Trade Union Relaxation Corner", "Mobile motel for environmental workers"... These are good, effective models with practical significance for union members and workers.

On this occasion, 4 collectives and 4 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for their outstanding achievements in the cultural and sports emulation movement in 2024; 4 collectives and 6 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Hanoi City Confederation of Labor for their outstanding achievements in the cultural and sports emulation movement in 2024; 20 collectives were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Hanoi City Confederation of Labor for their outstanding achievements in implementing the work of building "Culturally Standard Agencies, Units and Enterprises". The City Confederation of Labor also decided to recognize 2,780 agencies, units and enterprises with grassroots Trade Unions under the City Confederation of Labor meeting cultural standards in the period of 2023-2024.

The Capital Trade Union launched a writing contest “Capital workers think well, act beautifully”; a photo/video clip contest on “Capital Trade Union firmly steps into the new era” starting right after the launching ceremony and ending at 24:00 on May 30, 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong acknowledged that Hanoi Trade Union has always been one of the typical units, leading the country in the work of building cultural life, cultural, artistic and sports movements. Such results are the result of the efforts of all levels of Trade Unions, and the active participation of a large number of union members and workers.

Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong suggested that in the coming time, the Capital's Trade Unions at all levels need to continue to closely follow the direction of the City Party Committee and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to effectively implement the movement; closely coordinate with sectors and levels in directing, guiding, inspecting, evaluating, recognizing, and improving the quality of "Cultural standard agencies, units, and enterprises"; pay attention to building and replicating advanced examples, good models, and effective activities...
