On the morning of July 10, the Ministry of Justice held a national online conference to review judicial work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of the year.
At the Ministry of Justice, the conference was attended by comrade Le Thanh Long, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Justice; leaders and representatives of central agencies, ministries and branches.
At the Lao Cai provincial bridge, the conference was attended by leaders of the Department of Justice, the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, leaders and officers of specialized departments under the department, and justice departments of districts and cities in the province.

In the first 6 months of the year, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the judicial sector have been determined and made efforts to resolutely implement work programs and plans. The results of work in the first 6 months of 2024 in most areas increased compared to the same period in 2023. Notably, the work of building and perfecting institutions and laws has been focused on and implemented resolutely, achieving many positive results; many projects and draft legal documents under the management of the sector have been approved by the National Assembly and promulgated by the Government. The work of appraising legal documents has focused on improving quality and speeding up progress; checking and reviewing legal documents has been carried out promptly with a large volume of work, contributing to ensuring the consistency, publicity, transparency and feasibility of the legal system. Institutions in the fields of judicial support and judicial administration continue to be improved, meeting practical requirements.
The Ministry of Justice, ministries and branches have developed, submitted for promulgation or promulgated under their authority 292 legal documents; localities have promulgated 3,376 legal documents at all levels. Ministries, branches and localities have organized 305,128 legal dissemination sessions for more than 24 million people. The results of civil judgment enforcement have achieved many positive results, completing 403,769 cases, reaching a rate of 65.24%...
For Lao Cai province, based on the assigned goals, targets and tasks, the Department of Justice has made efforts to carry out the assigned tasks, ensuring time and quality according to the set plan.

At the provincial level, it provided comments on 131 drafts submitted by agencies and units; reviewed 2 proposals for drafting resolutions and 24 draft legal documents. At the district level, it reviewed 1 draft legal document.
The judicial sector has coordinated to advise on the issuance of 50 legal documents in the province. Notary organizations have notarized 12,627 cases; authenticated 69,669 cases. The province has organized 7,945 legal dissemination sessions for over 747,000 people...

Delegates attending the conference at the connecting points expressed their opinions clarifying the achieved results and proposed solutions to implement tasks in the last 6 months of the year.
Concluding the conference, Comrade Le Thanh Long, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, requested the Ministry and the judiciary to continue to innovate and be determined in directing and operating; effectively implement the issued programs and work plans, especially in deploying 10 key task groups and 130 specific task groups in various fields. Advise on the effective implementation of the law and ordinance building program, ensuring the progress and quality of draft laws; focus on advising on local issues, reporting for synthesis and resolution.
