Today, August 13, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province coordinated with the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Young Pioneer Council to organize a conference to summarize the work of the Youth Union, Young Pioneers and school youth movements in the 2023-2024 school year, and deploy tasks for the 2024-2025 school year.

With outstanding efforts, in the 2023-2024 school year, the Youth Union Council at all levels proactively consulted with Party committees, authorities and coordinated with relevant sectors to create resources and conditions for team organization activities.
The movement “Quang Tri children compete to follow Uncle Ho’s 5 teachings” has made significant progress. Activities and emulation movements to create an environment to train ethics, lifestyle, and skills for teenagers and children have been implemented regularly and effectively. The work of protecting, caring for, educating children and building teams at all levels has been focused on.
Youth Unions and Young Pioneers at all levels in the province have mobilized more than 3.1 billion VND to implement activities to support schools and disadvantaged students. During the past school year, 198 Young Pioneers in the area supported and helped 7,533 children in difficult circumstances.
The staff in charge of children are interested in training and fostering their expertise, skills and profession. The coordination between the Youth Union and the education sector in the work of the Youth Union and the children's movement is always close.

Also in the 2023-2024 school year, the school's youth union and youth movement work has been constantly innovated and developed with many good models and creative and effective methods. Information and propaganda activities have received special attention from all levels of the youth union. School unions have proactively advised the school's Party Committee and Board of Directors and actively mobilized social resources to successfully organize many meaningful activities for students.
The province has organized 250 regular volunteer activities and on-site volunteer activities, attracting nearly 39,000 union members and young people to participate. Activities to support and care for the spiritual life of union members and young people at schools have been focused on and regularly organized by union chapters at all levels.
The work of training and introducing outstanding members for consideration and admission by the Party has been effectively implemented. School unions have introduced 844 outstanding members for consideration and admission by the Party, of which 212 outstanding members have had the honor of joining the Party.

Within the framework of the conference, delegates exchanged and discussed the results achieved in the work of the Youth Union, Pioneers and school youth movements in the 2023-2024 school year; pointed out difficulties and problems from practice and proposed solutions to promote activities and movements.
At the same time, we are highly unified with the key tasks of the 2024 - 2025 school year such as: focusing on effectively implementing the movement "Quang Tri children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" associated with activities to educate children about traditions, history, ethics, and lifestyles; consolidating, perfecting, and improving the quality of organization and team activities inside and outside schools; strengthening propaganda and implementation of the Law on Children and activities to promote children's participation rights; innovating and improving the effectiveness of educational activities on skills to prevent accidents, injuries, drowning, child abuse, and violence...

Regarding the work of the Youth Union and youth movements, the key tasks are to focus on doing well the work of political and ideological education; effectively organizing revolutionary action movements of union members and youth in the school sector; improving the quality of organization and building of the Youth Union in the school sector; promoting training and introducing outstanding union members who are students for the Party to consider admission; implementing the youth development program of Quang Tri province for the period 2022 - 2030 and coordination programs with departments, branches, sectors and unions.
