On the morning of September 5, 80 schools from kindergarten to high school in Ea Kar district solemnly held the opening ceremony of the new school year 2023-2024.
Leaders of the District Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, representatives of departments, branches, organizations; leaders of the Party Committee and local authorities attended and shared joy with teachers and students of the schools on the occasion of the new school year.
Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the District People's Council Y Nhuan Bya attended the opening ceremony at Pham Hong Thai Secondary School (Cu Elang Commune); Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee Vuong Tan Thanh attended Ly Tu Trong Primary and Secondary School (Ea So Commune); Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen Van Ha attended Ly Thuong Kiet Primary School (Cu Bong Commune)... The leaders presented flowers to congratulate teachers and students of the schools, and read the letter from the President to the education sector on the occasion of the opening of the 2023-2024 school year.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Ea Kar district has 1,147 classrooms, with 37,840 students, 2,333 cadres, teachers and staff. To prepare facilities for the new school year, Ea Kar district has allocated over 72.4 billion VND to invest in the construction of 52 new classrooms, functional rooms, and sanitary facilities; renovating 267 classrooms and functional rooms; constructing architectural works such as: swimming pools, semi-boarding kitchens, fences and concrete yards; purchasing 603 sets of student desks and chairs, 181 computers, and 66 sets of teaching equipment.
The district Department of Education and Training has also directed schools to organize enrollment for the first grade classes according to regulations and proactively develop plans to carry out tasks for the school year; organize political, professional and technical training courses for staff and teachers throughout the district.
