On the afternoon of March 19, at the Provincial Party Committee Headquarters, a ceremony was held to award Medals of the Party and State of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (LPDR) to collectives and individuals of Ninh Binh province.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Bun-Khong-La-Chiem-Phon, Alternate Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Secretary, Governor of Udomxay Province; Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee; Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Lao Front for National Construction, leaders of the People's Council, a number of departments, branches, and sectors, the Vietnamese Association of Udomxay province; leaders, former leaders of the province, leaders of a number of departments, branches, agencies, units, collectives, and individuals of Ninh Binh province who were awarded the Medal.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Bun-Khong-La-Chiem-Phon, Secretary and Governor of Udomxay province, expressed his honor and pride to represent the Lao Party and State in awarding the noble Medal to collectives and individuals of Ninh Binh province.
Affirming the special, great and long-standing friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, which has been cultivated by generations of leaders of the two countries, has become a priceless asset to this day. Continuing the tradition of friendship and cooperation, over the past time, Udomxay province has had cooperative relations with many provinces of Vietnam, especially Ninh Binh province. The two provinces have signed a cooperation agreement and regularly visit and congratulate each other on major anniversaries of the two Parties and two states. In addition, the two sides regularly organize delegations to visit, exchange and learn experiences, and strengthen cooperative relations in all fields.
In particular, Ninh Binh province has supported Udomxay province to build infrastructure, develop education and training... On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam - Laos Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation (July 18, 1977 - July 18, 2022) and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Laos - Vietnam diplomatic relations (September 5, 1962 - September 5, 2022), with the research and proposal of Udomxay province, the Party and State of the Lao People's Democratic Republic agreed to approve and sign the Decisions to award the noble Medals of the Party and State of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to collectives and individuals who have made outstanding achievements in preserving and promoting the tradition of solidarity, supporting and helping Udomxay province in the past time.
On this occasion, the Secretary and Governor of Udomxay Province also expressed his gratitude for the support and assistance of Ninh Binh Province for the development of Udomxay Province over the past time. At the same time, he also wished that the great friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general and the cooperation between Ninh Binh and Udomxay Province in particular would be forever green and sustainable.
At the ceremony, authorized by the President of the Lao PDR, Secretary and Governor of Udomxay Province, Bounkhongla-Chiemphon, awarded the Friendship Medal; Third-class Freedom Medal; Second-class Labor Medal to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in building and developing the good traditional friendship and cooperation between Ninh Binh province and Udomxay province.
