Experience and enjoy "Pho So Ha Thanh" in the Old Quarter

Kinhtedothi - From December 6 to December 9, at location 13-15 Luong Ngoc Quyen - Hoan Kiem - Hanoi, Hanoi Convention Center will open the "Pho So Ha Thanh" booth. The time to experience and enjoy "Pho So" starts from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

This is the promotion program of "Pho So Ha Thanh" in 2024, where the message of digital transformation and application of modern technology is conveyed in the era of industrial revolution 4.0.

Pho Hanoi is the quintessential dish of Vietnamese cuisine, created and developed by Hanoians into an attractive dish since the early 20th century. Pho is the most popular dish of Hanoians, and has been rated by culinary experts around the world as one of the most attractive dishes in the world. Hanoi Pho folk knowledge was ranked as a national intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2024.

The program "Pho So Ha Thanh" is an activity taking place within the framework of the Hanoi Culinary Culture Festival 2024, aiming to honor Hanoi's traditional pho and introduce to the people about "Pho So" applying modern technology and digital transformation in the Vietnamese culinary industry.

Implementing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TU of the City Party Committee on digital transformation, building a smart Hanoi by 2025, with a vision to 2030, connecting with the smart urban network in the region and the world. The "Pho so" program not only brings a unique culinary feature but is also an important step in realizing this goal, affirming Hanoi's commitment to digital transformation, an essential factor for rapid and sustainable development in the 4.0 industrial era to catch up with the new world trends, helping people to be more aware of the importance of digital transformation in daily life.

Continuing the "Pho So Ha Thanh" promotion program in 2024 chaired by the Office of the Hanoi People's Committee, assigned to the City Convention Center to organize and implement to continue promoting the image of "Pho Hanoi" in general and "Pho So Ha Thanh" in particular to the people of the Capital about the application of new technology in the culinary industry.

During the days of the "Pho so" booth at 13-15 Luong Ngoc Quyen - Hoan Kiem - Hanoi, diners will be introduced by staff of the City Convention Center about the application of robot technology and digital transformation in pho processing, and at the same time experience traditional pho prepared and served by smart robots at the "Pho so" restaurant.

Also on Luong Ngoc Quyen street, visitors can also immerse themselves in modern art performances by Robots (robot mannequins) and take check-in photos with newly decorated, eye-catching miniatures...

Previously, the "Pho So Ha Thanh" program was successfully held at the Hanoi Food Culture Festival 2024, attracting a large number of visitors to visit and experience. During the 3 days (from November 28 to December 1) of the Festival, the "Pho So Ha Thanh" stalls attracted tens of thousands of visitors thanks to the appearance of smart serving robots. The program also received special attention from media agencies, newspapers and people across the country.

This is also an activity to promote the heritage of "Pho Hanoi" - a national intangible cultural heritage, contributing to the development of the cultural industry in the field of Cuisine to propose a policy to allow the construction of a national dossier of "Pho" and request UNESCO to list it on the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
