Tour without tour guide (HDV) but tourists still have an interesting journey, tour   Private, self-selected "see with your own eyes, hear with your own ears" style with lots of interesting related information... is the way Audio guide gives tourists to visit Quang Ninh Museum. Many tourists jokingly call it Audio tour.

Visiting Quang Ninh Museum with her family in Bac Ninh and experiencing this form of explanation for the first time, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Anh found it very interesting. This form is very suitable for her small family group while on weekends there are many guests, hiring a tour guide is quite difficult.

Quynh Anh's family and many tourists attentively listen to the instructions on using the Audio guide service at Quang Ninh Museum.

Ms. Quynh Anh shared: With a museum with many special spaces like Quang Ninh Museum, Audio guide creates for visitors to have "private moments" to listen and learn about the content that we and our children are most interested in, such as: Landscapes, creatures in Ha Long Bay, Ha Long cultural space, coal mining space... without being "disturbed". With the device in hand, we are proactive, even design our own itinerary, instead of following the traditional crowded itinerary.

Not only the feeling of Quynh Anh's family, this is the common feeling of many tourists when experiencing this form of tour guide at Quang Ninh Museum. According to Mr. Nguyen Quyet Tien, Director of Quang Ninh Museum, in order to promote resources and invested projects, this form is of interest to the unit and renewed. Although Audio guide is not new in the world and in Vietnam, we strive to renew it, create new feelings, and visit the Museum in our own way. In particular, at the beginning, we are allowing visitors to experience it for free to collect contributions and further improve the quality of the guide.

Accordingly, after purchasing tickets to visit the Museum, visitors are guided through the tour map, put on the headphones, connect to Audio, choose a main language and appropriate volume. The journey begins. Visitors go to any point and turn on the audio guide to introduce that point.

To do this, Quang Ninh Museum has compiled and filtered the most general and unique information of each visiting space from the huge amount of information about artifacts and exhibition spaces of the Museum... From here, the information is divided into 33 explanations in the spaces and 12 separate explanations about national treasures. Each explanation only lasts about 2-4 minutes, suitable for the visitors' sightseeing progress.

With separate explanations, associated with each space and artifact, visitors can create their own journey. In addition, Audio guides in both English and Vietnamese, with an emotional voice, moderate speed, concise content... help visitors concentrate more. Therefore, many tourists call it Audio tour. That is how Audio guides create a separate trip for visitors, a new difference compared to traditional museum visits.

According to Quang Ninh Museum, the unit currently has about 100 Audio guide devices. Each device allows 2 headphones. To diversify the experience, in the coming time, after receiving comments, Quang Ninh Museum will adjust the Audio guide to be more reasonable, add more interesting and unique stories related to artifacts and visiting spaces; add French, Spanish languages... to serve international visitors. The museum will also combine Audio guide with 3D mapping effects, new sounds, lights... in "key" spaces, to create realistic and interesting experiences, increasing the appeal of the Audio tour.
