Currently, scammers and human traffickers often use the form of meeting to directly contact and get to know the victims; take advantage of social networking platforms such as Facebook, Zalo, Viber, Wechat... to lure and deceive victims; take advantage of consulting activities, marriage brokerage with foreigners, adoption, tourism, visiting relatives, people in need of labor export... to lure, entice and then sell victims. Human traffickers often focus on subjects such as ethnic minorities, remote areas, children...
Faced with the above situation, to proactively prevent human trafficking crimes, Yen Binh district will organize training courses to improve professional capacity in preventing and combating human trafficking and protecting victims of trafficking; and propagate in the community about preventing and combating human trafficking.
Along with that, focus on socio-economic development in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, implement the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas to prevent vulnerable groups from becoming victims of human trafficking; strengthen the management of residence, immigration management and launch a peak period to attack and suppress human trafficking crimes throughout the district...
