Checking the preparation for the Hung King's death anniversary

Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho offered incense at the Hung King Temple in Tan Hiep.

The Hung King's death anniversary in Tan Hiep district will be held for 3 days, from April 5 to 7, 2025, on the 8th to 10th of the third lunar month, in which the incense offering ceremony will be held on the morning of the 10th of the third lunar month.

Funding for the memorial service comes from the budget and from socialized sources, mobilizing sponsorship from the people. Tan Hiep district has mobilized organizations, individuals, and businesses to support and sponsor funds, objects for the ceremony, festival, and offerings for the incense offering ceremony. The district has mobilized human resources to serve culinary activities with more than 20,000 free meals on memorial days, soft drinks, and 15,000 bottles of various types of drinking water to serve the people.

The district actively prepared all aspects of propaganda, celebration, security, order, health care, etc. to organize the death anniversary tightly and thoughtfully.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho said that the Hung King's death anniversary is a provincial-level festival, one of the important events of the province in 2025, so it is necessary to prepare closely to organize the death anniversary thoughtfully.

The Vice Chairman of the Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee assessed that Tan Hiep district had been proactive, determined and resolute in preparing for the anniversary. At the same time, he suggested that the district review the work of the 4 sub-committees to ensure a tight anniversary, focusing on propaganda and education among the people to promote the spirit of national solidarity and patriotism.

Comrade Le Trung Ho requested the district to study so that the organization of the death anniversary ceremony needs to have new points to attract people better. Note that the content, propaganda, and celebration subcommittee should review the content of the incense offering ceremony script, pay attention to banners and propaganda slogans that are attractive and create a wide spread; ensure traffic regulation, ensure security, safety, and order during the days of organizing the festival and ceremony; ensure logistics, hygiene, food safety, etc.
