Tuan Giao district has about 500 hectares of macadamia trees with fruit yield of nearly 200 tons of fresh macadamia fruit.

With the participation of the entire political system, the macadamia planting movement has developed widely in Tuan Giao district in recent years. Currently, nearly 6,000 hectares of macadamia are being planted and growing well in 18 communes of the district, mainly concentrated in Quai To, Quai Nua, Quai Cang communes... Up to now, about 500 hectares of macadamia have yielded fruit, with fresh macadamia fruit output reaching nearly 200 tons. According to calculations, after deducting costs, macadamia trees can generate an income of 120 - 130 million VND/ha per year, many times higher than growing corn and cassava.

Therefore, to develop this plant sustainably and in the direction of commodities, the locality is continuing to orient the location and land area suitable for development. At the same time, coordinating with technical units and enterprises to provide timely support on varieties, planting techniques, care and ensure stable output for people.../.
