The 34th Vietnam International Trade Fair - Vietnam Expo 2025: Accompanying businesses in the digital age

Following the success of previous fairs, the 34th Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2025) officially opened this morning (April 2) in Hanoi. The fair attracted the participation of about 400 businesses from 18 countries and territories, with a scale of over 500 booths. Notably, this year, in addition to traditional activities, Vietnam Expo 2025 has implemented online B2B trade connection activities, helping businesses to approach partners remotely, maintain connections 365 days a year, strengthen connections, expand the network of domestic and foreign partners, thereby improving competitiveness and sustainable development.

With the theme "Accompanying businesses in the digital age", Vietnam Expo 2025 takes place from April 2-5, at the Hanoi International Exhibition Center (ICE).

VIETNAM EXPO 2025 has the theme "Accompanying businesses in the digital age", hoping to bring a new technological breeze into a trade promotion activity, helping Vietnamese and international businesses not only cooperate from traditional opportunities but also take advantage of and exploit optimally technological platforms and solutions to enhance competitiveness, increase and create more valuable opportunities.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the fair, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Anatoly Sivak said that the fair will showcase the best products not only produced in Vietnam but also from many countries around the world, including Belarus. I am sure that Belarus is eager to expand mutually beneficial and long-term cooperation with the friendly country of Vietnam."

Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak also expressed his belief that through the negotiations taking place within the framework of the fair, the two countries will reach new agreements and sign new contracts, thereby contributing to the prosperous development of the people of Vietnam and Belarus.

At the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan said that in the context of the global economy facing strong and unpredictable fluctuations, from the prolonged impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, to geopolitical tensions and trade wars, which have disrupted supply chains, causing increased inflation, declining aggregate demand, and many other economic problems. This requires us to have flexible adaptive solutions, while promoting large-scale trade promotion activities with strong added value and spread, not only to support the business community in promoting products and expanding markets, but also to contribute significantly to maintaining the momentum of economic recovery and development of the country.

According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, in 2025, the Vietnamese Government has set a target of at least 8% growth in the total domestic budget (GDP), up from the previous forecast of 6.5% to 7%, promoting trade promotion activities, effectively exploiting signed free trade agreements (FTAs), and promoting new FTAs ​​with potential markets.

In addition, Vietnam will also focus on developing the digital economy, innovation and green transformation, not only for sustainable development but also to improve the business environment and enhance national competitiveness in the context of globalization and rapid changes in the world economy.

Vietnam Expo is an important international trade fair assigned by the Government to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize annually in Hanoi since 1991. After 33 years of organization, Vietnam Expo has become one of the important and meaningful trade promotion events for the Vietnamese industry and trade sector, contributing to creating many economic values ​​and opportunities for the business community in increasing exports, expanding markets, improving capacity to participate in the global value chain, thereby promoting international economic integration.

As an important event in the Industry and Trade sector, VIETNAM EXPO 2025 will display main industries such as: International Pavilion; Vietnam Export Promotion & Investment Pavilion; Electronics, Machinery and Supporting Industry Zone; Digital Technology & E-commerce Zone; Agricultural Products, Food & Beverage Zone.

This year's event welcomes the participation of major brands in digital transformation and technology solutions such as Odoo HK, Zoho, STS, Diginet, Bizfly; in supporting industries such as: Viet Phap aluminum, Hoang Vu stainless steel, Vinacomin, VNSTEEL Thang Long galvanized steel, Khang Viet chemicals, Hanopro adhesive tape, Thanh Long mechanics, VACSCO, SKFM, TOPES, DSHI, NAFTAN, GRODNO AZOT...

The highlight of VIETNAM EXPO 2025 is the Green Logistics Pavilion, which gathers leading enterprises such as FedEX, Long An International Port, Bee Logistics, Western Post, Smartlog, Intertrans, OPL, etc., introducing logistics solutions and technologies to support production, export and promote sustainable development in the freight industry.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade's "Investment in Industrial Development in Vietnam" booth at the central location with the aim of promoting investment promotion activities for Industry and Trade development, has become an important highlight of this year's fair. Here, 08 destinations in attracting specialized investment will be introduced including Son La province, Khanh Hoa, Tien Giang, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho city, Kien Giang, Bac Lam Thao Industrial Park and Korea Desk.

After more than 30 years of journey, VIETNAM EXPO 2025 continues to be recognized as a reliable destination by trade promotion organizations of many countries and territories around the world such as: Algeria, Cambodia, Republic of Belarus, Cuba, Korea, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal or China to organize National Pavilions to promote the strong products and services of each country.

In the domestic market, through many fairs, VIETNAM EXPO continues to receive positive responses from local investment, trade and tourism promotion centers to organize common booths to introduce key export products and high-quality OCOP products to a large number of consumers across the country and international friends. Coming to VIETNAM EXPO 2025, visitors will have the opportunity to experience agricultural products, food and beverages typical of more than 17 provinces and cities of Vietnam such as Bac Lieu, Bac Ninh, Ben Tre, Binh Phuoc, Dak Nong, Ha Tinh, Lai Chau, Ninh Binh, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Tay Ninh, Tien Giang, ...

Not only creating attraction from the diversity of displayed industries and the quality of products and services of participating enterprises, within the framework of VIETNAM EXPO 2025, there will be high-level forums such as "Vietnam - Belarus Business Forum", "Vietnam - Cuba Business Forum" and promotion conferences such as "Global Promotion Program of the 22nd China - ASEAN Expo (Vietnam)", "China (Qinghai) - Vietnam 2025 Economic and Trade Promotion Seminar" on April 2.

In parallel, workshops updating green transformation trends and key supply-demand connection programs are organized in close coordination with management agencies and prestigious industry associations.

Up to now, the event has attracted thousands of visitors who are traders and businesses from more than 60 countries and territories to register to visit and trade at the Fair: India, Belarus, Philippines, Russian Federation, China...
