Currently, the Department has also coordinated with relevant units to develop and issue a plan to implement public sanitation work to serve the Lunar New Year 2025.

In particular, units are required to organize and strengthen the collection and transportation of domestic solid waste and construction solid waste throughout the area during peak hours from January 26 to February 2 (from December 27 of the lunar calendar to the 5th day of Tet).

At the same time, the Waste Treatment Areas of Ho Chi Minh City increased the receipt and treatment of waste during the peak period of Lunar New Year compared to normal days (it is expected that on New Year's Eve it will likely double) to promptly handle all the additional waste generated.
