Ho Chi Minh City opens portal to check information on primary school admissions

On April 4, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training officially opened the admission information portal for the 2025-2026 school year at https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn

Parents check and confirm student registration information. Parents' login account and password will be provided by the school.

From April 4 to April 13, 2025, parents can access the system to review and adjust if necessary, to ensure accuracy in data for admission to early grades, including grades 1, 6 and 10.

If information needs to be adjusted, parents need to enter the requested content on the system and attach relevant evidence such as a photo of the student's birth certificate, a photo of the parent's VNeID and information about the place of residence.

The school will also review, verify the request and make adjustments if valid. After the information is updated, parents need to access the city's primary school admission portal again to check and confirm the official information.

After the above deadline, the system will lock the editing function. Any adjustment requests will only be accepted in special cases and must have a valid reason with specific evidence.

From April 14 to 16, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will compile data and send it to the Thu Duc City Department of Education and Training and districts to finalize the number of students preparing to enter grades 1 and 6.

Then, from April 17 to 19, the People's Committee of Thu Duc City and districts will report the total number of students by area to the City's Primary Admissions Steering Committee to serve the quota allocation work.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training recommends that parents and students closely monitor enrollment information from the online system as well as announcements from the schools where students register to avoid missing important deadlines.

This year, with the application of a data digitization system and centralized management, Ho Chi Minh City continues to maintain a public and synchronous admission process for primary schools, helping to reduce administrative procedures and improve accuracy and fairness for all students in the area.
