STRAITS TIMES. 2024 is set to be the warmest year in Singapore's history, with the average annual temperature at 28.4 degrees Celsius, close to the levels of 2019 and 2016.
JAKARTA POST. Indonesia has affirmed that the US withdrawal from the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) will not affect the commitment of other partners to the program.
AFP. Indonesia has launched the Affordable Food Program (GPM) in more than 2,100 locations nationwide to ensure stable prices during Ramadan and ahead of Eid al-Fitr.
IRNA. Iran has said it will not negotiate directly with the United States under current conditions of "maximum pressure" and has dismissed the prospect of restoring the 2015 nuclear deal.

REUTERS. Australia will add $1 billion to the federal defense budget to boost its military capabilities, including producing guided weapons, building submarine bases and building frigates.
