Summary of Bac Giang Province Culture - Tourism Week 2025

With the theme "Sacred Tay Yen Tu", the Bac Giang Culture - Tourism Week 2025 will be held from February 8 to 13, 2025 (ie from January 11 to 16, At Ty year) with 13 main activities. The main event space is at Tay Yen Tu spiritual - ecological tourism area, Son Dong district; Vinh Nghiem pagoda, Bac Giang city, Suoi Mo ecological tourism area, Luc Nam district and a number of districts and cities. The activities within the framework of the event were successfully and safely organized, achieving many positive results and leaving many deep impressions on delegates, tourists and people about the land and people of Bac Giang, attracting about 1.2 million visitors.

In addition to annual activities such as: Forest Opening Festival at Ba Chua Then Temple, Huong Son Commune, Lang Giang District; Then Singing - Tinh Lute Festival in Son Dong District; Procession of the Three Patriarchs' Tablets from Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, Bac Giang City to Ha Tay Yen Tu Pagoda, Son Dong District; Spring Newspaper Festival and beautiful photo exhibition on economic and social achievements of Bac Giang Province; Sloong Hao Singing Festival and Spring Market in Tan Son Highlands, Luc Ngan District; Opening Ceremony of the Spring Festival at Than Nong Temple, Luc Nam District; Specialized exhibition on cultural heritage and tourism product promotion; Exhibition and introduction of beautiful photos of Bac Giang tourism; Organizing Cheo art performances and intangible cultural heritages... This year, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed to organize 02 new activities: The 6th expanded Bac Giang Province "Practice of the Mother Goddess Worship Belief of Vietnamese People" Festival in 2025 and the expanded Cycling Race with the theme "Journey in the footsteps of the Buddha King". Thereby contributing to raising awareness of all levels, sectors and people in preserving cultural heritage, developing tourism associated with socio-economic development; at the same time, introducing, promoting, and spreading the tourism brand "Returning to the sacred land of Tay Yen Tu" following the "Path of propagating Buddhism of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhist Patriarchs".

Concluding the conference, Comrade Mai Son acknowledged and commended the members of the Organizing Committee, the support team, the departments, branches, localities, enterprises and related units for their proactive, responsible and active participation in organizing the Culture - Tourism Week, contributing to the success of the event. In order for Bac Giang tourism to develop further in the coming time, he suggested that the departments, localities and enterprises continue to coordinate to improve the quality and diversify the province's typical tourism products.
