On the afternoon of September 22, within the framework of his working trip to the United States to attend the Future Summit, the 79th United Nations General Assembly, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam met and exchanged with the Communist Party, left-wing organizations and friends of the United States in New York.

General Secretary and President To Lam thanked comrades and friends for taking the time to attend the meeting, expressing his respect and emotion for the support and affection of communist comrades, friends and people of the United States for the Party, State and people of Vietnam through the ages.
