TPO - The two routes T1 and T2 connecting Long Thanh airport, Dong Nai province with National Highway 51 and Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway have gradually taken shape, with beams placed at important intersections.
T1 and T2 road projects are traffic works connecting Long Thanh airport with National Highway 51 and Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway. |
The project started construction in July 2023, with a construction period of 885 days and a total value of more than VND 2,630 billion. |
The construction unit has completed the beam guarding item at the intersection of route T1 and National Highway 51. This is an intersection with high traffic density, so the contractor must work at night with the support of functional forces to direct traffic through here. |
This is package 6.12 of the Long Thanh International Airport Construction Investment Project, Phase 1, implemented by a consortium of 6 companies, headed by Deo Ca Group. |
According to the design, route T1 is 4.3km long, connecting National Highway 51 to Long Thanh airport. |
Route T2 is 3.5km long, connecting Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway (a component of the North - South Expressway) and running parallel to Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway. |
The package mobilized 750 personnel, nearly 200 pieces of equipment, and organized 20 construction teams on both routes T1 and T2. |
Output reached 1,290 billion VND, equivalent to 60% of contract value, ensuring the set progress. |
Regarding the road, the K95 earthwork, CDM piles, and civil underpass have been completed. Other items such as the K98 earthwork have reached more than 60%, and the crushed stone construction has reached nearly 39%. |
According to the design, the 4.3km long T1 route, extending from the west of Long Thanh airport to National Highway 51, is invested with a design speed of 80km/h according to urban main road standards. The 3.5km long T2 route, consisting of 4 lanes, starts at the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway and ends at the intersection with T1 road. |
The entire project is expected to be put into use from December 2025. |
