In recent years, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Council have always paid attention to and directed the work of environmental protection; the Provincial People's Committee has issued many documents to implement the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws on environmental protection in accordance with the practical conditions of the province and achieved many positive results. Up to now, 80% of public areas, inter-commune, inter-village and intra-field roads have been planted with trees; 100% of wards, towns and 3 district administrative centers have organized waste collection; the rate of households using clean water in urban areas and hygienic water in rural areas has reached 99.7%; most industrial parks and clusters have centralized wastewater treatment systems that meet environmental standards. Establish and deploy 9 community groups to monitor production facilities with high risk of causing environmental pollution in concentrated production areas in the province.

The seminar heard presentations on: Orientation on developing ecological urban area models, orientation on developing circular economy, low-carbon economy in agriculture; policies on encouraging investment in applying circular economic models; leadership and direction of authorities at all levels to propagate and organize the implementation of the Law on Environmental Protection 2020...
Concluding the discussion, Professor, Dr. Le Van Loi, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, assessed that Ninh Thuan is a province with great potential for economic development in many fields, so it is inevitable that there will be impacts on the natural environment. In this situation, it is recommended that the province specifically analyze the factors of climate change that affect production and people's lives; from there, develop plans and solutions to implement appropriate and effective environmental protection policies in the coming time.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions and sharing of the delegates. The Vice Chairman assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to review and fully absorb the contributions; districts and cities to disseminate the content, knowledge and experience gained during the seminar to commune, ward and town levels, in order to raise awareness among cadres, party members and people in implementing environmental protection policies in the locality. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in Southeast Asia would continue to pay attention and support the province in environmental protection work and effectively adapt to climate change.
