At the conference to announce the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, held on the morning of December 14, Binh Phuoc granted investment registration certificates to 32 enterprises with a total capital of 628.7 million USD; started construction of the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway project through Binh Phuoc province; inaugurated the first phase of the 500 million USD auto tire factory and announced the second phase of Becamex - Binh Phuoc Industrial Park.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha attended and directed the conference.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien emphasized: The planning of Binh Phuoc province for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1489/QD-TTg dated November 24, 2023 and adjusted in Decision No. 1259/QD-TTg dated October 24, 2024. This is the legal basis for the province to formulate policies, deploy the arrangement and rearrangement of development space, allocate and effectively use resources, maximize advantages to realize socio-economic development goals, national defense and security; is the basis and basis for making urban planning, rural planning, district-level land use planning and technical and specialized planning in the province according to the provisions of law; is a milestone to help the province proactively create a breakthrough and sustainable development future in the coming time.
The plan sets a goal that by 2030, Binh Phuoc will become a modern, efficient and sustainable industrial province, an "attractive destination" of the Southeast region, with a fairly large economic scale based on the synchronous construction of technical infrastructure, social infrastructure, development of industry clusters with the potential to create many jobs and budget revenue; improve the quality of life for people, narrow the gap between rural areas, ethnic minority areas, remote areas, border areas and urban areas. At the same time, strengthen regional connectivity through the development of key infrastructure systems; complete e-government, gradually transition to digital government; ensure solid national defense and security; build a clean and strong party organization and political system in all aspects.
Regarding specific targets by 2030, the average GRDP growth rate will reach over 10%. Industry - construction accounts for about 54%; trade - services 35%; agriculture, forestry and fishery about 11%; digital economy accounts for 30% of the economic structure. Average GRDP per capita reaches 180 million VND (equivalent to 7,500 USD). Budget revenue reaches 30,000 billion VND. Urbanization rate reaches 50%. By 2050, Binh Phuoc will become a modern, prosperous and civilized industrial province, becoming one of the important economic growth poles of the Southeast region, equivalent to the provinces with a fairly developed level of the country; harmonious development space between urban and rural areas; urban construction in an ecological, modern and sustainable direction. Preserving and promoting cultural and ethnic values, comprehensively developing people, a clean living environment, becoming an "attractive destination" of the Southeast region.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha congratulated the outstanding achievements of the Party Committee, government, army and people of Binh Phuoc province over the past period.
Reiterating some of the goals and tasks set by the Politburo for the Southeast region in Resolution 24, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha affirmed that Binh Phuoc is identified as a direction to expand the region's industrial development space; develop border gate economy, logistics; play an important role in protecting water resources, forest ecosystems and biodiversity. The planning of Binh Phuoc province is a step to concretize Resolution No. 24 of the Politburo; with a strategic vision, organizing development space based on resource potential, strategic position, cultural values, and people. In particular, the inter-regional and trans-Asian infrastructure system will connect the economic space of Ho Chi Minh City - Binh Duong - Binh Phuoc; the economic corridor of the Central Highlands - Southeast and the Mekong Sub-region.
“The legal basis is available, the potential has been identified, the development orientation has been determined, the solutions are clear, the remaining issues are decisive, which are the innovative thinking, the dynamic and creative spirit of the Party Committee and the government; the consensus and response of the business community and people in organizing the implementation of the planning to realize the province's aspirations,” Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha noted.
Speaking at the conference, Alternate member of the Central Executive Committee, Secretary of Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh said: Binh Phuoc Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, is built on the basis of inheriting important achievements of the previous period, socio-economic development results in the current period, especially attracting FDI capital. At the same time, closely following new resolutions, orientations, and directions of the Central Government, national-level planning to integrate in a unified and synchronous direction.
Secretary of Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh affirmed: The province is deeply aware that the announcement of the new planning is the first step, the journey to implement the planning is very long, the task is very important, so it will devote the highest determination, the greatest effort, put responsibility and sentiment in every decision and action to organize the implementation of the provincial planning comprehensively, synchronously, effectively and with quality.
