Kinhtedothi - On the morning of November 14, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Phuoc province organized a program to launch support for the "For the Poor" Fund and honor outstanding collectives and individuals in social security activities and volunteer work in the period 2022-2024.
This is an activity in response to the program "Warm home for my people" launched by the Government and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and organized the activities of the Peak Month "For the Poor" in 2024.
With the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, mutual assistance, the whole leaf covers the torn leaf, the little torn leaf covers the much torn leaf... existing in every cadre and people of Binh Phuoc province, this program aims to call for and further promote that good spirit with the motto "whoever has something helps, whoever has property helps property, whoever has merit helps merit, whoever has a lot helps a lot, whoever has a little helps a little".
In the period of 2022-2024, the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund has mobilized nearly 127 billion VND. From the above amount, the province has built and donated 2,134 solidarity houses for poor and near-poor households with housing difficulties. Thereby, it has created motivation to help poor and near-poor households improve their lives. Humanitarian and charitable activities have been maintained and implemented effectively by the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels.
At the program, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee honored 50 collectives and 30 individuals who have excelled in social security and volunteer activities, with specific tasks such as: building gratitude houses and solidarity houses for families with meritorious services and poor households; mobilizing medical examination and treatment; supporting civil works; awarding scholarships to help poor students overcome difficulties to study well, helping each other develop production, overcoming consequences caused by natural disasters and epidemics...
At the program, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee launched a campaign to support the "For the Poor" Fund, thereby creating more resources to build solidarity houses and implement social security in the coming time.
