Many people are probably familiar with the guy nicknamed Bino, who is famous for his charming and practical English sharing videos on social networks. Bino's real name is Vu Vi Binh, the owner of the TikTok channel with more than 750,000 followers, and 1 million followers on all platforms. Recently, he shared with readers about "real-life skills" in learning English through the book "Speak English without thinking ".

Before writing books, Bino was a content creator with "clean" and useful "content" that helps readers gain more knowledge about foreign languages. What is admirable is that the author, born in 1989, has spent many years "rolling around" in Russia, Australia and working for one of the "big four" banks in Australia. He studied 4 foreign languages: English, French, Arabic and Russian. With many years of experience teaching English to Vietnamese people, through personal observation, contemplation as well as "bloody experience", he wrote Brainless English to guide readers to use this foreign language in the most practical way, in the style of "learning while playing, playing while learning". Brainless English is like a "practical handbook" for everyone, from those who are not really good at English to those who have used this language very well. The author "designed" the book according to 12 "topics" corresponding to 12 months of the year, so that readers can carry it with them and read, learn, and apply it whenever needed. These topics are not unfamiliar to readers, revolving around greetings and self-introduction; family; using days, months, and years to describe schedules and appointments; weather vocabulary; vocabulary about restaurants, food, drinks, etc. These topics are organized in a linear, continuous, and natural conversational format, so they are suitable for "practice" in daily life .

Breaking the "curse" of fear of English
Through his first book, the author has an interesting observation that Vietnamese people know and speak English better than they think, the problem is that they do not know how to turn the vocabulary in their heads into words. Therefore, the book is written for practice and... continuous practice! Because according to the author, to be good at any skill, learners must continuously cultivate that skill. That is also the reason why through the book, Bino wants to contribute a little effort to changing the academic and heavy English learning habits of many people: practice persistently and do not be afraid. At the end of each conversation topic, there is a QR code leading to a short video so that readers can practice speaking directly with the author.

This "hot" book can be jokingly said to help readers overcome the "fear" of English. The author has provided more than 1,000 English words, idioms, slang, abbreviations... so that readers can practice this language as naturally and simply as possible. Not only that, he also shares many tips on pronunciation and speaking English neatly. By providing a lot of knowledge in the most "common" and useful way possible, the author wants readers to learn English comfortably like... a child. Be curious, "open your mouth and speak, speak, speak non-stop" - this is what the author is passionate about, because it forms in the learner a quick, natural reflex, forming a vocabulary in an active way when learning English.
Author Vu Vi Binh was born in 1989. In addition to being a content creator, he is also the host of the IELTS Face Off program on VTV7. Before its official release, Brainless English reached the milestone of 10,000 "pre-order" copies.
