This afternoon (March 29) in Da Nang city, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong city, Hai Phong Museum and Library in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang city, Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture organized the opening of the photo exhibition "Hai Phong shines with heritage land".
The event celebrates the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); 50 years of Da Nang City Liberation Day (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025); 70 years of Hai Phong City Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 3, 2025) and 65 years of Hai Phong City and Da Nang City's twinning (1960-2025).
The exhibition aims to introduce to the people of Da Nang city, domestic and foreign tourists the close relationship between the two cities, along with the cultural values, people and development achievements of Hai Phong. Thereby, it aims to promote the cultural and historical heritage values of Hai Phong city and promote the close relationship with Da Nang city.

The exhibition displays more than 200 images and documents, divided into three parts with the main content including Colors of Hai Phong's marine cultural heritage to promote and introduce the unique features of the marine cultural heritage created and passed down throughout history.
Through images and documents, we show the beauty of the seas and islands of Hai Phong with prehistoric marine cultural sites, colorful sea festivals and coastal melodies.
The content of Hai Phong - Position and strength in the era of rising aims to introduce the birth of the historical city of Hai Phong from the end of the 19th century as well as the achievements and marks of Hai Phong in all fields of economic, cultural, social, national defense and security development.

This is a solid foundation for the Port City, together with the whole country, to firmly enter the era of growth with the desire to build an international, modern, civilized city with its own identity.
Finally, the content of Hai Phong - Da Nang: 65 years of affection is an image to promote and introduce the close, lasting bond between Hai Phong city and Da Nang city formed during the resistance war against the US to save the country - a concrete manifestation of the strength of great national unity with the spirit of "Hai Phong - Da Nang with a heavy heart of affection".
In addition, the exhibition introduces the cooperation, solidarity, and sharing of socio-economic development experiences between the two localities over the past 65 years.
The exhibition takes place at the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture until April 2.
