These individuals also request that establishments conduct money transfer transactions, affecting the reputation and causing difficulties for Lam Dong Health Department staff in the process of performing their duties.

Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health has issued a document to a number of departments, branches and units to coordinate propaganda and resolve according to the provisions of the law to prevent the situation of forging documents of the Department of Health. However, this situation has continued recently.

The counterfeiters have very sophisticated and professional tricks, taking advantage of the fear of businesses and people to commit fraud.

The documents are similar in form to real documents so they are easily confused.

Specifically, the subjects impersonated officials of the Department of Health, sending fake documents announcing food safety inspections via social networks, with the aim of defrauding and appropriating property. These documents often have the same form as real documents but contain many errors and are not officially issued by the Department of Health.

Accordingly, people and especially business owners are advised not to comply with the requests of these subjects, including providing personal information, bank account numbers or OTP codes. Any notices about food safety inspections must be sent directly from competent authorities, not via social networks or personal phones.

If there is any doubt about the authenticity of the information received, people should immediately contact the police or the Department of Health for support and resolution. Early reporting will help prevent fraud and strictly handle impostors, protecting the rights of the people.
