On the afternoon of March 27, the Party Committee and Command of Kien Giang Border Guard held a conference to announce and hand over decisions on personnel work.
According to the decision of the Border Guard Command, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Tu - Head of the Drug and Crime Prevention Department, Duong Dong Port Border Guard Command was transferred and appointed as the Head of Tho Chau Border Guard Station. 7 comrades were transferred and appointed as Deputy Head of the Port Border Guard Command and Deputy Heads of Border Guard Stations in Kien Giang province.
In addition, 37 comrades received decisions to transfer to take on the duties of department heads, station chiefs, deputy station chiefs, and working teams of the Kien Giang Border Guard.
Colonel Pham Van Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of the Kien Giang Border Guard Command congratulated the comrades on receiving their new tasks; reminded the officers assigned to new tasks to continue to cultivate, train, uphold the sense of responsibility, internal solidarity, constantly study military knowledge, politics, and border work skills to be able to better fulfill political tasks in the current revolutionary period.
