Accordingly, the subjects created fake messages, using the Apple logo with the title: "Warning from Apple", informing that the victim's Apple Pay account had just successfully made an online transaction.

To add credibility, these fake transactions are often based on apps or products that the victim has previously used or ordered.

The subjects also recommend contacting the phone number attached in the message if this transaction is not made by the victim himself.

Typically, these messages create a sense of urgency, forcing the recipient to proactively contact them to verify information, preventing the possibility of account theft leading to other unwanted transactions.

After calling the attached phone number, the victim will be connected to an impersonator working at the customer support center, who will ask the victim to provide personal information, Apple account username and password, and entice the victim to download remote control applications such as AnyDesk or TeamViewer to the device to directly handle and fix the problem.

The Information Security Department recommends that people should be vigilant when receiving messages notifying them of unusual amounts of money. Carefully verify the content of the message through reputable news sites or official information portals.

Never access strange links or download strange applications, provide personal information, bank information or transfer money without verifying the legitimacy of the website or the identity of the sender.

When encountering suspicious signs, people need to quickly report to the authorities to promptly investigate and prevent fraudulent behavior.
