Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a meeting with Emulation Cluster No. 2 in Can Duoc

In Can Duoc district, on the afternoon of March 27, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An province held a meeting for the first quarter of 2025 for the Emulation Cluster No. II of the Fatherland Front of the districts including Can Duoc, Can Giuoc, Tan Tru, Chau Thanh, Ben Luc, Duc Hoa and Tan An City. The Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province - Do Thanh Hung chaired the conference.

From the beginning of 2025 to now, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has actively promoted major events of the year; the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State; continued to carry out patriotic emulation campaigns and movements.

In the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province mobilized people to contribute to building rural infrastructure, working days, repairing, patching, and upgrading rural roads. Thereby, 4km of roads were built at a cost of 2.76 billion VND; 01 bridge was inaugurated at 01 billion VND; more than 3,000 trees were planted; lighting was installed on 5km of roads; good models and effective practices were maintained and developed in residential areas.

During the Lunar New Year 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province organized Tet booths, contributing to bringing Vietnamese goods to consumers; organized many "zero-dong markets" to support 552 shopping vouchers, 1,600 portions of necessities and agricultural products with a total cost of 716 million VND for people in difficult circumstances.

At the same time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at district and grassroots levels organized activities to care for the poor, mobilized agencies, units, businesses, and philanthropists to support the "For the Poor" fund to support the construction and repair of 09 solidarity houses with a budget of 700 million VND; donated 369 water tanks; supported 26 cases of economic development, supported trees and seedlings to help escape poverty... with a budget of 544 million VND; visited and presented more than 77,900 gifts to poor households and people in difficult circumstances.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Do Thanh Hung suggested that the Fatherland Front of the districts of Emulation Cluster No. II continue to monitor and grasp the thoughts of cadres, party members and people on the implementation of the policy of rearranging the organization of the political system; focus on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; and at the same time focus on implementing the model of "Self-managed, united, prosperous and happy residential areas".
