On the afternoon of August 26, Permanent Vice Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quang Hung and leaders of a number of departments, branches and units inspected the site clearance work of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park and the main road in the Economic Zone in Thai Thuy district.

Here, the delegation listened to relevant units report on the progress, difficulties and obstacles in site clearance for the Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park project, and axis roads No. 1 and No. 2 of the Economic Zone.
According to the report of Thai Thuy District People's Committee, the main problems in the current site clearance work are mainly related to a small number of households and businesses that have not agreed with the support policy, compensation for land acquisition and resettlement.
Thai Thuy District People's Committee will focus on promoting propaganda and mobilization to create consensus among people and businesses, strictly implement legal regulations, and at the same time propose to the Provincial People's Committee some solutions.
Delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the causes of obstacles that slowed down the project's progress and discussed solutions to promptly resolve site clearance and complete infrastructure investment in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park and main roads in the Economic Zone.
Concluding the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quang Hung emphasized: The progress of the projects and works is slow and has not met the requirements set by the province. The immediate task is to promptly resolve the difficulties of these two projects and works in order to promote investment efficiency and focus resources on implementing other key projects and works of the province.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Thai Thuy district to mobilize the entire political system to propagate and mobilize people and businesses to create consensus and unity in implementing site clearance work, and resolutely enforce according to the law against cases of deliberate procrastination and resistance. Closely coordinate with departments and branches to urgently complete site clearance of the remaining areas to hand over the site to investors and contractors.
